Hi there...well here goes with my first attempt at a home page and they told me it was easy I,m not so sure about that but I'll keep trying and see what happens. I just hope you don't fall asleep in the meantime. For those of you that don't know I live in the North West Of Western Australia where the sun always shines and well we don't know what a winter is. But its a great place very flat and red feels like the end of the world sometimes, but if you like the outdoors, sport and making your own fun this is the place to be. I want to try and show you on my page some of what this great outback of Australia is really like....so hopefully I can acheive that and you'll come back again for another visit.Port Hedland is approximatly 2000km NW of Perth the capital of Western Australia. The population currently is about 15000 people and expected to grown quite a bit in the next few years with the construction of the new BHP HBI site the first of its kind in Australia. BHPIO which is the main stay of Port Hedland producing Iron Ore have also constucted a tunnel which goes under the harbour from the Port Hedland site at Nelson Point to the Finucane Island site another first for Australia.
